Societal embedding of nanotechnology

In this research theme we want to research how applications of nanotechnology eventually are embedded in the society and create the expected impact that we aimed for. Important here is to look at the other than technical aspects that play a very important role in this process. Aspects such as ethics, legal aspects, perception of people, etcetera are essential in this. How can we include these aspects early in the process, to ensure that impact is created.

This is done in close collaboration with the University of Twente, the RIVM and the research group Ethics and Technology (Steven Dorrestijn).
